Award-winning actor and Sense supporter Richard Wilson first became involved with Sense when he voiced a radio commercial for the charity which aired on BBC Radio 4.
In 2007, he hosted the Sense Awards, which honour excellence in both deafblind people and those who work alongside them.
Richard also lent his support to Sense for our Fill in the gaps booklet which was produced for our 2006 campaign to raise awareness of deafblindness in older people.
Richard said: "Living with hearing and sight loss in later life can be a challenge, so it is incredibly important that professionals take action to identify deafblind older people and ensure they receive the support they need."
Richard's acting credits include One Foot In The Grave and Kingdom. He also starred in the hit West End political satire Whipping It Up in 2007.
