Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain adopted Sense & Sense International as their Charity of the Year for 2011-12, and smashed their initial fundraising target of £100,000 by raising just over £129,000.

Thank you to all Iron Mountain employees for supporting the partnership and getting involved in so many events and activities - from running marathons, to trekking Kilimanjaro, skydiving to golf days and football tournaments!

"I would like to congratulate Iron Mountain on raising a fantastic £129,000 and thank all their employees for the enthusiasm and support they showed since the launch of our partnership.

"Raising this amount for Sense and Sense International in such unstable economic times is a huge achievement. It will have a real tangible impact on the lives of so many deafblind people we work with, so thank you for your tremendous support and congratulations again!"

Gill Morbey OBE, Chief Executive of Sense & Sense International, President of Deafblind International.

Iron Mountain Partnership Launch – the Spinathon

The partnership launched in September 2011 with a number of events and activities across all the Iron Mountain sites, including the Iron Mountain Spinathon event held at the Head Office in London.

Iron Mountain Kilimanjaro Trek

The event took place in June 2012 and raised just over £21,000!
"Climbing Kilimanjaro was an amazing experience that I will never forget and being able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause was one of the things that made the whole experience so incredible."
James Hargreaves, Customer Support Specialist, Iron Mountain.

Iron Mountain Ridgewalk

The event also took place in June 2012 and raised over £7,000.
"Our partnership with Sense has really challenged people in so many different ways. It is fantastic to witness the huge sense of accomplishment after completing an event like the RidgeWalk."
David Lyle, Head of Customer Relationship, Iron Mountain.

Iron Mountain BBQ day in London

Trevor Sadler, Data Entry Specialist at the Cody site, was the BBQ Master Chef on the day, helping us to raise over £200 in just a couple of hours!

"The BBQ event at our Cody site in London was a fantastic opportunity for us to bring together so many of our employees, who enjoyed the BBQ, had a chance to chat to their colleagues as well as meet with the Sense team and learn more about their work. We were also pleased to raise over £200.00 within just two hours of the afternoon, all thanks to the generosity of our staff."
Nick Knight, Head of Service Delivery, Iron Mountain.
