A group session in a large exhibition space at the V&A family day

Museums and heritage are part of our shared cultural fabric. They hold the stories and histories of our communities and they are the sites of so many important exchanges.

Physical and sensory access to museums and heritage for people with multi-sensory impairments is challenging. The traditional design of different spaces is not always conducive to the needs of the people we support. This is why at Sense, we are committed to working with museums and cultural providers across the UK to increase visibility, access and participation with heritage for the people we support.

Already, we have begun exciting partnerships with a range of museums to extend awareness, promote inclusion and find new solutions to old problems.
