Groups for children and young people

These groups are an opportunity for children and young people who are deafblind or multi-sensory impaired and their families to meet on a regular basis. They give families the opportunity to share experiences and ideas, to chat to members of our team, and for children and young people to have fun.

If you would like to find out more about any of our groups, or would like to join in the activities, or just come along, then do please get in touch with us. This will help us to find out more about how best to support your family and offer further information – and a warm welcome.

Pre-school groups – Developing early communication and exploration through play.  A group for children with sensory impairments, multiple and complex needs aged 0-5 years.

Drop In/Inclusive sessions – Bring your child along to play in our Sensory Room and Activity Room or just drop by to meet up with our Children and Family Support Workers, who will be on hand offering advice and support. Open to deafblind, single-sensory impaired and mainstream children and their families.

Saturday Groups – Activities for children, young people who are deafblind/multi-sensory impaired and their families.  Our groups include a range of sessions including art, cooking, and sensory activities. 

Market Deeping Swimming Group - This group meets to use the hydrotherapy pool each week at our Manor Lodge Centre It  is open to all ages. Due to the size of the hydrotherapy pool, numbers are limited, so anyone wanting to come along should contact information & Advice to let us know that they are interested.

Dingley Family and Specialist Early Years Centres
A Berkshire charity which runs specialist early years centres for children aged 0-5.
The Dingley Centres provide a place where children with additional needs and disabilities can develop skills through play under the supervision of qualified staff.

Sense Avon Saturday Club
First Saturday in each month, 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
