Thirteen-year-old Gethin is deaf and has some vision.
He uses a combination of BSL, hand-under-hand signing, gestures and PECS (picture exchange communication system) to communicate.
Gethin loves football and will never pass on the chance to play with his brothers.
During his week-long holiday, Gethin had a go at go karting, canoeing, making ice cream at an ice cream factory and swimming - for what seemed hours on end - in the sea.
This year Gethin also tried abseiling for the very first time. He loved it so much that he went back on the rock four times, increasingly raising the level of difficulty each time.
Gethin is eager for independence and keen to explore new things. Sense holidays give him the space he needs to become more independent and the chance to have fun and spend time with other teenagers with similar communication needs.
