The East Anglia Branch is a group of deafblind children and adults and their families who are interested in deafblindness and associated disabilities. We meet three times a year in Ipswich to offer each other mutual support.

What we do

Signpost to other Sense services

We also run a leisure library for people with sensory loss and their carers every Thursday 10am to 12pm. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a coffee and chat, play games and various craft activities. Each session costs £1.50 join us at:

Join the Sense East Anglia Branch this October for a day of fun activities for all the family. Come and try our new sensory equipment, join in the games and share in the exciting music session provided by Musica.

Meet our members and enjoy the supportive and friendly atmosphere whilst sharing in the delicious sandwiches and home made cakes which will be provided, giving you lots of time to meet new people or maybe catch up with old friends.

East Anglia branch members participating in parachute games and a drumming session

Members of the East Anglia branch gather together twice a year, for fun and games with all the family. The group enjoy parachute games outside the village hall! Drumming sessions and sensory activities, to name but a few, with lunch being provided and served by the Woman’s Institute.
