As someone so passionate about the outdoors and the natural world, who’s campaigned for environmental issues for years, I want to encourage you to sign up for a great family day out where you can make the most of the wonderful Yorkshire countryside - the Vision 5K Walk being run by Sense, the national charity who campaign and support the 250,000 deafblind people across the UK to become full and active members of society.
I take a walk as often as I can, in every season, to enjoy the sight and sound of wildflowers and wildlife in all their glory. Join everyone at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park on 17 March 2013 to take your own walk, explore some of the beautiful sculptures in the Park and be blindfolded to understand just what it’s like to be without one of your senses. Your support will help to raise vital funds for deafblind children and adults so don’t hesitate – get involved, sign up and have a fantastic day out!
