Our Sense charity shops always hugely appreciate your donations.

Clothes hanging in a Sense shop

We try to obtain the most value possible from each item that you donate to us, and every penny raised goes towards our work supporting deafblind adults and children across the UK.

We stock a wide range of good-quality second-hand items as well as new goods.

Sense shops sell:

  • Latest fashions and retro clothing
  • Handbags, shoes and accessories
  • Costume and genuine jewellery
  • Antiques and collectables
  • Linen and household items
  • Furniture – second-hand and new
  • Electrical goods
  • Hardback and paperback books
  • CDs, cassette tapes, records and singles
  • Videos and DVDs
  • Toys and games
  • Bric-a-brac

Books on display in a Sense shopOur shops also require clean carrier bags for recycling to our customers. And if you have any unwanted foreign or pre-decimal currency, we collect that too.

You can find furniture for sale in our larger shops. If you have an item of furniture that you wish to donate to support Sense, please contact your local Sense shop for details. Unfortunately, due to the cost involved in the safe disposal of older foam-filled furniture, Sense reserves the right to refuse certain types of furniture.

Why not pop into your local friendly and welcoming Sense shop in the high street – leave us a donation, and pick up a bargain!

Thank you!
