Campaign resources

A group campaign outside WestminsterCampaigning can be an effective way to achieve the change you want to see in the world around you. It involves organising coordinated actions aimed at achieving certain outcomes. The best campaigns further excite, inspire, and empower people, encouraging them to join or support your campaign.

Personal experience and stories are powerful campaign tools. This means that you can be one of the most powerful campaigners on issues that affect you. You can also be part of campaigns by supporting them.

Whatever your experience, skills or interests, there are campaign actions that will suit you. Our campaign resources will help you to get started.

In the first section you will find questions to guide you through planning your campaign. Under campaign tools we’ve put together some resources to make campaigning easier for you. Here you will find information on: knowing your rights, how to get information for your campaign, writing campaign letters, making the most out of meetings, campaign actions, and getting publicity. Finally, at the end we have included some links to more campaign resources.

If you want to campaign with Sense, you can join our Campaigner’s Network.
