How to play
What you’ll need
- A parachute or large sheet
- A ball (optional)
How to set up
- Everyone stands around the parachute and holds it tight at waist level
Rules of the game
- One player lifts up the parachute, then the player next to them copies them, creating a Mexican wave with the parachute.
- Send the wave around the circle
- Try adding some balls and see how many you can keep on the parachute before they fall off
Other ways to play
- Balls with bells make this game more sensory – why not explore their texture and sound before placing them on the parachute
- Make it easier by not using any balls
- Different sized balls will be more of a challenge
