What happens in the video?
Before you get started, make sure you have a clear space around you, a chair nearby, a glass of water and set yourself up with a table, the kitchen rolls or upside-down plastic tumblers, ping pong balls and a pair of bats.
Set the kitchen rolls or plastic tumblers up in the centre of the table where the net would be, and leave a gap in the middle. Practise rolling the ball back and forth across the table, through the gaps, using the bats. Follow along with the video.
Tilt the bat upwards slightly and use it to lift the ball over the ‘net’.
Count how many hits you can get in a single volley before the ball falls off the table.
