The HPA produce quarterly and annual data showing the incidence of the wild rubella virus in the UK.
National Congenital Rubella Surveillance Programme (NCRSP)
Congenital rubella births are reported to the programme and so historical and current data is available. Those involved with the programme write extensively about rubella, particularly in relation to susceptibility to rubella in women of child bearing age, surveillance, congenital infection in pregnancy and inadvertent rubella vaccination in pregnancy.
