Our day care and family centres provide opportunities to develop a deafblind person’s communication and skills, as well as offering families a break from full-time care.

These specially designed and adapted centres offer a wide range of facilities - including gyms, height-adjustable kitchens, allotments, swimming pools and therapy rooms. Each individual is given their own timetable, often focused around practical, everyday activities.
Our sensory and Snoezelen rooms are special spaces where members of staff or family members can work with an individual in a controlled environment purely dedicated to the senses. Centres also provide a focal point for communities, where families can find friendship and support.
How your money helps
A family support worker - £15,000
The worker regularly keeps in touch with the family, following up on the groundwork established by the multi-sensory impairment (MSI) teacher. They help apply the MSI teacher's recommendations in the home and at the school. £15,000 provides part-time support for one year.
