Sense welcomes donations direct to our shops. Visiting a Sense shop will also give you the chance to browse our stock and to learn more about our work.

Sense shops are supported by two warehouses. You can donate your unwanted items directly to your local Sense warehouse. Find out the location and opening hours of

Home collection service
This door-to-door service is ideal for when you need to guarantee the safest possibly method of collection for a valuable, delicate or large item, including furniture. Due to the cost involved in the safe disposal of older foam filled furniture, Sense reserves the right to refuse certain types of furniture. Please contact your local Sense shop to arrange collection or for more details.
Door-to-door collections
Donation collectors go door-to-door all over England delivering an official Sense collection sack with details of our charity and the next collection date / time. On a designated day, they return to collect any donations left outside your property in the Sense sacks that are visible from the road. Look out for our collection sacks in your area.
Donated goods collection bank
Highly visible donated goods banks are now being installed in a variety of locations around the country. Specialist banks for the donation of books and music can be found in Peterborough, Leyton and Greenwich, with a large donation goods bank located to the rear of the Sense shop in Kingswinford. By mail
You can donate smaller goods to any of our shops or warehouses by post. Please remember that Sense cannot track your donation or enter into any costly correspondence after it has received your donation.
If you would like a receipt, please supply a stamped self-addressed envelope with your donation. Find the address of your nearest Sense shop or warehouse.
