Recycle for Sense

You can raise money for Sense by recycling your mobile phone or used printer cartridges.

Following a review we have made a few changes to the service with the aim of making it cheaper, more efficient and easier to use.

With immediate effect, rather than producing and sending out pre-printed envelopes, we now have two freepost addresses (one for phones and one for cartridges) which you can write on any envelope and use this to send us your donated item:

For mobile phones the address is:
Freepost Sense Mobile Recycling.

For printer cartridges the address is:
The Recycling Factory (Sense), Freepost ANG 3645, Boston, PE21 7BR.

The benefits:

  • The new system is quick and easy to use
  • It will save time as there is no more waiting for envelopes to be delivered
  • It will reduce the cost to Sense meaning more money from each donation goes directly towards helping deafblind people
  • It is still free to send your donated mobile phone or printer cartridges to Sense.

Here you will find a step-by-step guide to recycling your phone and recycling your printer cartridges.

Please note if you have any of our old envelopes lying around the house waiting for a phone or cartridge please discard these and use the new addresses.

Sense also has recycling banks around England. You can also give your unwanted clothes and other items to any Sense shop.
