In a unique piece of art work, Sense celebrates those who have given us very special gifts.
The artwork, which is on display in our London office, was inspired by deafblind people through a series of workshops at our Anne Wall Resource Centre in Barnet. An accomplished artist, Sam Haynes, led the workshops and developed the final piece directly from the work of the deafblind artists.
As well as thanking and remembering the generosity of spirit and future security that our legacy donors have given to Sense, the final installed art piece acts as both a vehicle for carrying the names of those who have given in an extraordinary way to Sense and as a wonderful example of deafblind art.
Sense has two special new animated photo clips and interviews, telling the story of how the artwork was created and explaining why it is so important to us.Watch below.
