This is a fantastic opportunity to tackle and conquer the oldest road in Britain. Steeped in history, the Ridgeway is one of the most beautiful and dramatic national trails in the UK.

Sense Wild West Weekend

The Solar Series – Gower Coastal Walk
The challenge begins watching the sun rise over Swansea bay. From our vantage point on the Mumbles headland the challenge heads west to the far end of the Gower Peninsular taking in some of the most famous bays and beaches in Wales. Whether you want to enjoy a fun day out, challenge yourself, or just to do something for charity, this event could be the perfect one for you!

National 3 Peaks Challenge
This is one of the toughest and most popular UK walking challenges for a reason and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll start by scaling the 1344 metres of Ben Nevis on Saturday afternoon before ascending the 978 metres of Scafell Pike by torchlight. Having descended the Pike in the early hours you’ll then take on the 1085 metres of Mount Snowdon on Sunday morning to complete this ultimate challenge.

The Solar Series – Nene Way
For our penultimate event of 2012 the Sense Solar Series heads to the heart of the UK as we explore the Nene Way. Starting from the picturesque village of Woodford (just outside Kettering) we follow the River Nene as it meanders its way along our path before completing the challenge at the Sense Resource Centre in Peterborough with a welcome celebratory drink.

The Solar Series – Snowdon Rooftops Challenge
At 18 miles the Rooftops Challenge in Snowdonia is the shortest walk in the Solar Series (although this has plenty of height gain!) Do something amazing in 2012 and challenge yourself and your team to take on one or maybe all of the Sense Solar Series challenge walks.
