Great North swimmers Now in its fourth year, this event is the biggest open water swim in the south of England, with 5,000 participants having taken the plunge in both 2010 and 2011.

It’s a fantastic challenge for all swimming abilities, from first timers to Olympic Champions. You will experience the thrill of open-water swimming, safe in the knowledge that expert kayakers and safety boats will be with you every stroke of the way.
