From the Spring 2005 issue. Living life as a deafblind person, or being the parent or carer of a deafblind child, requires immense physical and emotional resources. Simply surviving from day to day is often a struggle. It can be lonely, too, especially when society seems to blithely ignore the challenges faced by those who lack sight and hearing.
Two way street - focus on volunteering
