Sense Cymru welcomes a number of the measures in the Social Services & Wellbeing proposals. We welcome that Gwenda Thomas, the Deputy Minister for Social Services, recently wrote to a deafblind person that the Welsh Government will “strive to ensure that the specific needs of deafblind people, their families and carers, are fully integrated into [the] framework of support, including the new outcomes framework and Code of Practice”.
