Bookmarks create a buzz

honey scented bookmarkEach year Sense creates a bookmark to help to promote gifts in wills – a vital source of funding for Sense.

This year, a school competition was held to pick the design, themed on favourite fragrances.

Natalie Assad, Individual Giving Officer at Sense says: “We were thrilled when students of Brookfields School in Reading agreed to participate in our bookmark design competition and the result is just fantastic.”

Winning designer, Ben Hinton, aged 16, impressed the judges with his bright and bold honey bee themed bookmark. Ben’s design has been professionally reproduced and scented with a honey fragrance.

Sue Townsend, author of the Adrian Mole series, has endorsed the bookmark with a special message.

The bookmarks are free and out now at Sense charity shops. You can get yours now by calling Natalie Assad on 020 7014 9350 or email natalie.assad@sense.org.uk
