Do you know someone aged over 75?

About one in 20 people over the age of 75 have both hearing and sight loss which causes difficulty with every day life. Many people with older relatives in this position struggle to know the best way to support them. That will include many of the customers in our shops.

That’s why Sense has produced 'The Good Life'; a booklet full of hints and tips about supporting your relative and where to go for more help if you need it – everything from tips on the best way to communicate to what sort of equipment might help. Find out more about the campaign for older people.

Sense shops will be helping to spread the message about supporting older people who don’t see and hear too well throughout May 2009. Every customer will receive a flyer advertising our booklet for people with older relatives with sight and hearing loss.

The Sense shops are an excellent way to reach out to many people who might not realise that Sense can help them.
