Fake job offer trying to scam the unwary
Recently we have been contacted by a number of people who have received an email pretending to be from the charity SOS Children's Villages. The email appears to offer individuals a job collecting and transferring donations for the charity. Many of these people have previously posted their CVs onto employment sites, although some people have received the emails out of the blue. Some emails also contain Sense's website address at the bottom of the page. Read a sample email in full.
While SOS Children's Villages is a genuine charity, they have not been sending out these emails, they are from an unknown third party trying to scam individuals looking for work. Equally, this email has nothing to do with Sense. If you receive one of these emails, or something similar, please delete it without responding.
