Sense library named after deafblind man
Sense’s specialist library on deafblindness - The Ian Cloke Library - has been officially launched by Gini Bartlett who is Family Liaison Officer at Sense West.
Gini is the mother of Ian Cloke who has lived at a Sense house in Birmingham for over 20 years. She also founded Sense’s library in 1989, working as a volunteer on this project for over ten years.
The library is now based in London at 101 Pentonville Road and has 7,000 titles related to deafblindness, which staff and Sense members can borrow. Read more about the library and its online catalogue.
