Curtis reaches new heights with the right support from Sense
Curtis is crazy about trampolining. He even has his own trampoline in the garden and is able to find his way onto it without any help from his mum. No different from any other 12-year-old child, you might think. But Curtis is different – and achievements like this are so amazing because he was left deafblind by a brain haemorrhage when he was born. Sense has supported Curtis and his family for over 10 years now.
Curtis's mum says, “Without Sense, Curtis wouldn’t have achieved half of the things he has but we still need help. We are learning new things all the time together and Sense helps us to make progress.”
You can read more about Curtis as well as Jack, Josselin, Scarlett and Elliot in the newsletter (pdf, 1MB).
