Sense launches new five year strategy
After months of consultation with deafblind people, their families and carers, Sense today launches its new strategy. With a focus on engaging more with deafblind people and campaigning for deafblind people’s rights as citizens we have set ourselves some real challenges for the coming year.
Sense has been tremendously successful at developing services, campaigning for change and supporting families. These proud achievements, among many others, form the basis of our new ambitious plans.
We know that the number of deafblind people is increasing. You can view our updated figures, which will form the basis of more research into this area. In this changing environment deafblind people, their families and carers continue to struggle to get the support they deserve - we will aim to deliver more and have a greater impact on their lives.
