Intervenors' network day this June
The 2009 intervenor network day will be held on Saturday 6 June at BVSC, Digbeth, Birmingham.
It will include workshops on:
- experiences of a person who is deafblind
- transition planning processes
- Veronica Sherbourne movement approaches
- yoga with deafblind people.
Gail Deuce will deliver a plenary on sensory integration and CHARGE Syndrome.
The network day is specifically for intervenors or those assigned to work in a one-to-one situation with a congenitally deafblind/ multi-sensory impaired child or adult.
The organisers are trying to keep costs down to as low as possible and are charging £50 per delegate.
