Dame Evelyn Glennie is the world's most successful solo percussionist. Dame Evelyn lost her hearing when she was a child and was only too happy to help Sense, when we invited her to take part in our annual Drumathon. Evelyn led a sensational musical workshop, which encouraged deafblind children to enjoy music. The Drumathon also launched a national event in primary schools across the UK.
