About the job

Support Workers enable deafblind people to develop independent skills and have full access to the local community. Support activities include promoting health & well being through diet, exercise and a range of social activities such as swimming, rambling, arts and crafts; you’ll also help with personal care and domestic tasks.

Shifts are early in the morning, day time, late afternoon and evening; and includes alternate weekend working.

Alternate weekends and waking nights are also available.

Qualifications / experience required

Previous experience is not necessary as full training is given.

You must be aged 18 years or over.

An Enhanced Disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau is required.
