Since 2002 Sense has carried out regular surveys of local authority services for deafblind adults. We have also carried out surveys of services for deafblind children.
The surveys examine the extent to which local authorities are implementing the provisions of the deafblind guidance. Here are the results of the 2009 - 2010 surveys.
On the pages detailing local authority replies we have included the most recent response received from local authorities who did not return the latest survey. The responses are self reported – Sense is not in a position to check the accuracy of responses.
