Why they would like a penpal:	I would like a lot of penpals with Usher because I would like to have a wide circle of friends where we all understand each other - our experiences in society are so unique it can be hard to live up to the pressure of always having to fit into a 'seeing-hearing' world - it's nice to take a break and communicate with others on my own level!
About them:	I'm a 37 year old mum, married, working full-time in administration. I also work from home in the evenings as a qualified Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, Body mirror healer. I enjoy water-skiing and tai chi, and I've been travelling to most of the Retina International congresses every two years where I've met a lot of people with visual impairment and a few with Usher. I'm realising more and more how few of us there are in the world!
