Penpals - Kim

Name:

Kim

Age:

Under 18

Where they live:

Bedfordshire, United Kingdom

Why they would like a penpal:

Deafblind people have always fascinated me - I often go to the Signed Masses for the Deaf in my local town. I know many deaf people, but I would love to have a deafblind penpal because I love having friends and getting to know people who are different to myself (deafblind, foreign, etc.) - you can learn so much, and those who are not deafblind take the gifts we have so much for granted.

About them:

I am 17 years old, my birthday is in April, I am in 6th Form (Year 13) at St. Thomas More Upper School, studying French, Music, Christian Theology and English Literature. I am going to study languages at university next year.

My hobbies include music (playing and listening to), theatre (I am no stranger to the stage) and languages (for which I have a passion - the only language I speak at the moment, however, is French).

I am very optimistic, laid-back, friendly and I have a good sense of humour. I hope to make some deafblind friends very soon!
