| Why they would like a penpal: | I have full sight and hearing but am learning both BSL and Makaton firstly to hopefuly help my grandson who lives with me to gain communication skills as he has suspected autism (too young to be diagnosed) secondly I am learning so that I may teach to others both in a profesional and voluntary capacity. |
| About them: | I have been a volunteer until recently with SureStart and with communities first, as we have now guardianship of my 3 grandchildren I have less time for voluntary work at the moment but still help with our local tenant and resident group. i love poetry and writing, reading and films. i don't socialise in pubs clubs etc. I am pretty much a homebuddy with a silly sense of humour. I love animals and live in north Wales. |
