Penpals - Ciaran

Name:

Ciaran

Age:

30 - 45

Where they live:

Cavan, Ireland

Why they would like a penpal:

I have been partially sighted since soon after birth. As I had never known anything else I grew up with this "disability". Three years ago I was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis. I now have great difficulty in walking, which used to be one of my great pleasures. Yet I am seldom depressed by my circumstances. I always gain great comfort and satisfaction communicating with people from throughout the world, especially those who have a disability. I see being a pen pal as being a citizen of the global village where distance is overcome by technology and friendship
About them:

I am 38 and work as a freelance writer. I have written a number of books on both history and business theory. My passions in life are reading, especially poetry and historical travel literature. I am also interested in languages, and I have learned (but sadly forgotten) over a dozen. I would like to correspond with anyone from anywhere in the world. We owe a duty to share friendship.
