This handheld ultrasonic obstacle detector has five settings ranging from 1 metre to 4 metres. The device vibrates when an obstacle is detected and the frequency of the vibrations increases as the obstacle becomes closer.
The Palmsonar can be run on and is supplied with a CR2032 lithium battery.
