Transport links

By air
The three main airports are Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA), Manchester International Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport all having excellent transport links into Leeds City Centre.

Leeds
If you are flying to Leeds Bradford International Airport a taxi into Leeds City Centre would cost approximately £20 (GBP) and takes approximately 30-35 minutes.

Manchester
If you are flying to Manchester International Airport trains run from the airport to Leeds City Centre every half an hour from 6am-9pm. Depending on which train you catch the journey can take either 1 hour or 1½ hours at a cost of £17 (GBP).

Liverpool
If you are flying to Liverpool John Lennon Airport trains run every hour from 6am-8pm. The journey takes about two hours at a cost of £20 (GBP)

By car
South East (London, East Anglia, Home Counties), South West (Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Staffordshire) Central (Midlands, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire)

M1
Leave the M1 at J43 and join the M621 into Leeds (centre). Exit at J4 and follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

M6
Join the M62 East. Follow the signs for Manchester/Leeds. Exit the M62 at J29. Join the M621. Exit at J4 and follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

A1
Exit and join the A64. Head for Leeds City Centre. Then follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

West, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Wales
M62
Exit the M62 at J27. Join the M621. Exit at J4 and follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

East, North Yorkshire, Humberside
M62
Exit the M62 at J29. Join the M621. Exit at J4 and follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

Scotland, North East, Sunderland, North West
A1
Exit the A1 at J45. Join the A64 East Leeds. Then follow the brown tourism signs for the Royal Armouries Museum.

By train
Leeds Central train station is less than one miles from the conference venue and Express by Holiday Inn hotel. Get directions and maps from the Royal Armouries Museum website.
