Young Sense weekend 2013

Healthy body, Healthy mind

The Young Sense Weekend 2013 is being planned later this year, if you would like to help plan the event and be part of the steering group, contact rosie.tabrizi@sense.org.uk. We will post all the exciting news about the 2013 event as soon as we have it!

Who is the weekend for?

The weekend if for anyone who is between the ages of 13 and 25 and deafblind.

What will we do during the weekend?

The theme of the weekend is 'healthy body, healthy mind'. Over the course of the weekend we will explore ways to stay active and healthy and ways to keep your mind sharp and in tip top condition! We will look at physical fitness that is accessible for all, such as swimming, and ways to keep your mind healthy too, such as yoga and music.

We will try and recreate all our favorite unhealthy food in a healthy way and learn some new cooking skills as well!

But most of all we will have fun, have time to socialise and have the chance to meet old friends and make new ones!
