Sense library
Our library has more than 6,000 books, articles, DVDs, videos and CDs relating to deafblindness and associated disabilities for staff and Sense members to use.

The first time you borrow from the library we will need the following information:
- Name
- Postal address
- Contact telephone or textphone number
- Email address if you have one
To find items in the library, search the
Sense online library catalogue.
When you have chosen from the online search facility, please ensure you include your full name and postal address and email the title or titles to info@sense.org.uk.
Alternatively you can phone or textphone us on 0845 127 0066 and we’ll try to send it to you within 24 hours.
Library items are sent to borrowers free of charge. But it is the responsibility of the borrower to pay the return postage, ensuring the items are returned in good condition by the due date given when taken out.

The usual loan period is six weeks. You will be told the items’ return date when you take them out.
We don’t charge for late returns, but if borrowed items are persistently overdue the borrower may lose the right to use our library.
