Sense College
Sense College is an independent specialist college for young people and adults who have sensory impairments and additional disabilities.
All eight College sites are light, airy, spacious and warmly inviting – and provide education centres of excellence for learners with sensory loss. The eight sites are:
1. Hampton, Peterborough
2. Louth, North Lincolnshire
3. Dereham, Norfolk
4. Knapwell, nr Cambridge
5. Bourne, East Lincolnshire
6. Glenside, nr Spalding, East Lincolnshire
7. Rothwell, nr Kettering
8. Sense@Keech, nr Luton, Bedfordshire
The facilities offer a specifically designed multi-sensory environment that meets the particular needs of learners and enhances the learning experience.
The specialist and experienced education team are committed to offering exceptional standards of education and care.
All learners are supported to use whichever communication methods are appropriate for them, and detailed individual plans are put together to support each learner’s future development.
Based at sites across Lincolnshire, Cambridge, Peterborough, Northants and Norfolk, Sense College encourages lifelong learning.

Accredited learning programmes can be undertaken, and the College partners with general further education colleges to provide opportunities to progress and attain at a higher level.
