Our accommodation choices include:

• Residential services - Sense provides high-quality, registered services in appropriately adapted conventional properties. Further information on our residential services
• Supported living - Small houses or flats where people hold their own tenancies, and Sense provides the support. Further information on supported living
• Your own home - We can provide support to a deafblind person in their own home. Further information about our communicator guides and intervenor services

Operational policies, staffing levels and lifestyles within each accommodation are determined by the specific preferences and needs of those living there.

Each person has an individual programme that includes daily living experiences and specialist resources to develop skills to achieve their dreams, aspirations and life goals.

Trained staff

Sense's fully trained staff are skilled in helping deafblind people live as independently as possible, to develop skills and retain their dignity.

We are careful to choose staff who share our values and commitment. All staff are specifically trained in deafblindness and a range of other specialist skills such as behavioural management and communication.
