National Scholarship Fund for SEN staff available now

The second round of the National Scholarship Fund for SEN support staff has just been launched. Through this fund students may be successful in gaining up to 50% of the total course cost (not exceeding £2,000) of courses that will deepen their knowledge of SEN/D and enhance their ability to provide effective support to the teaching and learning of pupils with Special educational needs/ disability (SEN/D).
Sense runs two courses that are eligible for the bursary:
- five-day Intervenor course
- seven-day Regional Centre of Expertise Introduction to MSI course
Sense has a regularly updated training calendar with planned dates for 2013/14. We are still adding dates to do please contact us to see if more dates will be available in your area.
Please note the turn-around time for any applications is quite tight. The electronic application process will be open from 8 April 2013 and closes at midnight on 25 April 2013.
