Fundraise at school or college
We have a large amount of support among children and young adults, and you can join in the fun, too.
Fundraising in primary schools
Ideas for ages 5-11 years:
- Challenge your class to a sponsored silence
- Auction your teacher to do your homework
- Hold a silly hair day
- Bring in favourite board games for a fun and educational activity
- Dress in your own clothes or get dressed-up for the day to raise money
- Challenge pupils to help their parents around the house, getting sponsored per chore
- Ask teachers and students to bring in their loose change and make a coin trail around your school. Then collect and donate the total amount to Sense
- Why not form a fundraising committee and support us all year round?
- Take part in Drumathon 2013. Drumathon returns next year and we need your support to make an even bigger bang around the UK in 2013! Your primary school can take part in the Sense Drumathon next summer.
Last year over 200 primary schools took part in our event and helped to raise vital funds and awareness for deafblind children and adults across the UK.
With your support this year will see more pupils and teachers getting creative in their schools and drumming-up support for Sense in their local community.

- Arrange a 'bring 'n' buy' or table-top sale
- Sponsored competition such as music, poetry, dance, swim, cycling

- Have a 'wear your own clothes' day or themed day, for example, orange and purple (the Sense colours)
- Organise a bag pack at your local supermarket
