Funding available to help low-income families with deafblind children

24 May 2013

The Government has announced a new fund for parents of children and young adults who are disabled or seriously ill.

Family Fund, the UK’s largest grant giving charity, is designed to make life easier for low-income families with disabled and seriously ill children including those who are deafblind. The money can be used for days out, garden play equipment, computers, toys and kitchen appliances like dishwashers and washing machines. The fund helped more than 50,000 families in England last year.
