Dame Evelyn Glennie is the world's most successful solo percussionist.

Double Grammy award winner and BAFTA nominee, Evelyn lost her hearing when she was a child and was only too happy to help Sense when we invited her to take part in our annual Drumathon. Evelyn led a sensational musical workshop for us, encouraging deafblind children to explore and enjoy music.

The Drumathon also launched a national event in primary schools across the UK.
