Written Declaration on rights of deafblind people
As part of EDbN, Sense achieved the historic adoption of the Written Declaration 1/2004 on the rights of deafblind people.
This Written Declaration continues to be the most useful international document for people to use to get recognition of deafblindness in their country.
Guidance on using the Written Declaration to achieve change has been produced to provide advice and support to people wanting to use the Declaration in their individual countries.
Deafblind people in the European Union
A questionnaire was sent out to all EDbN members to find out about the varying situation of deafblind people across the European Union in 2005.
The results were put together in a report which is available in English and in French.
