AXA Hearts in Action

The AXA Hearts in Action team has supported the Sense Woodside Family Centre in Bristol since Sense became its Charity of the Year five years ago.

AXA Hearts in Action teamThe volunteers were warmly welcomed as they lent a hand to boost equipment provision at the centre.

By constructing an attractive garden art feature, composing sensory boards, bean bags and textile books, the team have added to the comfort of visiting families as well as contributing hugely to our work in the education and stimulation of children’s senses.

"AXA Hearts in Action local support and volunteer teams are amazed by what the staff at Woodside do. Our volunteers felt their contribution will really make a difference.

"Volunteering gives our employees a chance to learn something new and provides team-building opportunities; they come back motivated from the experience.

"Sense really supports us in fulfilling our CSR objectives."
