About Ambra

4-year-old Ambra has CHARGE syndrome that affects her sight, hearing and even her breathing. Until recently she could only breath through a tube in her throat which stopped her from making sounds.
How Sense supports Ambra
Now that she is breathing unaided, she has just learnt to laugh for the very first time.
Ambra comes to one of our Family Centres where we have a hydrotherapy pool. Her mother Sylwia says: “I hope to take Ambra swimming for the first time this year.”
Your gift of £30 could pay for a deafblind child like Ambra’s first swimming session – so they can enjoy a specialist hydrotherapy pool.
