If you are a deafblind person, or a family member, and want to see changes Sense can:
- provide information about campaigning
- help you to decide how to campaign for the changes you want
- support you to make the most of action you take - for example, we can comment on draft letters, help you to understand a reply, talk to you to help you prepare for a meeting and encentra
- keep you informed about campaign opportunities, such as consultations
- involve you in campaign events we organise
- tell you about ways you can support Sense's campaigns
- enable you to take action for yourself in other ways.
As a deafblind person, or family member, you know what needs to change and you have the personal experience that is so very powerful in persuading decision-makers. So, you are the best person to take action on the issues that matter to you.
Perhaps you, or your child, need better services from your local authority. Maybe you want a pedestrian crossing to be installed. You might wish for better access to your local leisure centre, pub or shops. Possibly you've heard about a new Parliamentary bill and would like to influence it. You can take action on all of these and any other issue that matters to you.
Sense can provide information, advice and support to help you to take action for yourself.
