Help us make the next strategic plan a good one for Sense
Every five or six years Sense Council prepares a strategic plan that makes clear the organisation’s objectives and direction for the next few years. The strategic plan covers Sense work in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our current plan, "A Sense of Purpose", outlines our strategy for the period until the end of March 2009. Sense Council has begun work on the next strategic plan – for 2009 onwards.
As part of the work to develop our new strategy we will need to decide on the impacts we want to make in order to get closer to achieving our vision of a world in which all deafblind people can be full and active members of society. It is important that we also collect information on what has been done in the current strategic period together with views on opportunities and possibilities for the future.
You can help us to shape our strategy for the future. Take our questionnaire and tell us how Sense has helped you or how we could do things better. All information will be brought together and used to prepare a document that outlines our strategy beyond 2009. The strategy will then be published by the end of March 2009.
