The Garden Room provides two fully accessible and adapted workshops for instruction and training in woodwork, pottery, and ceramics. The workshops lead to the production of a variety of garden products and offer an opportunity to experience arts and craft activities.

The Garden room is situated on a small industrial estate in Smethwick. The unit has been designed to comply with DDA regulations and adapted to support people with both dual sensory impairment and physical disabilities.

Staffing support is provided to meet the needs of each individual, and can be done on a 1-to-1 basis if appropriate. All staff are given specialist training in working with people with dual sensory loss, including the use of different means of communication such a BSL signing and objects of reference.
